Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers and help maintain plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation. You will stock shelves, build displays, and assist customers while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, scanning and bagging purchases, and supporting ordering with handheld scanners. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; stock shelves or move to sales floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate merchandise and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and scanner; bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store entrances and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
