Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding items and responding to inquiries.
• Inform customers of specials and recommend items to meet their needs.
• Check product quality and freshness; review sell-by dates and take action as needed.
• Stock, label and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain food safety standards and temperature logs; ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
