Kroger is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at 1032 Sagamore Pkwy W, West Lafayette, IN 47906. The role focuses on outstanding customer service, bagging groceries, assisting customers with loading bags, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will help with price checks, shelf maintenance, and supporting store operations while upholding Kroger's values. Experience in retail is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers with loading bags into their car
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout
• Follow best practices for bagging items and use appropriate bags
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials
• Return merchandise to store shelves and restock bascarts
• Clean spills, collect trash in store and parking lot, and maintain store cleanliness
• Understand store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines
• Provide friendly, welcoming environment and assist customers with questions
