GATE Petroleum in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Food Service Associate Non-Exempt to deliver a friendly, efficient customer experience while performing routine food preparation and assisting guests. You will collaborate with the Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager to control store operations and inventory.

You will stock coolers and shelves, operate the register, and help train teammates on food preparation and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead).
• Fast-paced food service environment with exposure to heat, cold, and various kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals for food service equipment.

Responsabilités

• Arrive to work on time, consistently Follow GATE standards for uniform and appearance, upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
• Greet customers and assist customers with questions about products or services GATE offers.
• Ensure a friendly and efficient checkout experience for customers.
• Handle all payments following all GATE policies.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient service, assisting customers with menu choices and answering questions about ingredients and preparation methods.
• Perform any additional tasks requested or assigned by the Kitchen and Store Managers.
