In this role you will prepare items per customer requests, offer samples, promote specials, maintain proper temperatures, label and stock merchandise, and help keep the department clean and safe while

Responsibilities

• Prepare items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide fresh products and correct portion sizes.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Monitor temperature logs and food safety procedures.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized and inviting department.
