Job summary

The Cashier at Runnings is responsible for interacting with customers as they enter and leave the store, delivering excellent service, and supporting hourly operations. Hours vary and occasional night or weekend coverage may be required.

Greet customers, handle transactions with the KCX cash register, maintain accurate cash handling, and assist with pricing and stocking. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Retail environment with standing and light lifting required.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and assist with service questions.
• Handle customer transactions accurately and politely.
• Assist with price tagging and shelf stocking as needed.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and basic math accuracy.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist with questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Process transactions using KCX cash register system.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balance at end of shift.
• Price store merchandise as requested by management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as directed by management.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
