Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Cashier to deliver high-quality service to customers, operate the cash register, and ensure tills are accurate. The role includes stocking and cleaning the dining and retail areas to maintain a pleasant environment for guests and patients.

The Cashier will handle payments, report transactions at shift end, and assist with setting up breakfast and retail displays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with cash handling and cash registers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service at all times.
• Checks out retail customers during hours of operation.
• Records transactions accurately in the cash register system.
• Collects correct amount of money for goods sold and reports end-of-shift cash.
• Follows cash handling procedures and maintains neat cash handling areas.
• Restocks utensils, condiments, cups, lids, plates and other items for meal service.
• Sets up stations in the retail area and continental breakfast items daily.
