Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, ring up purchases, and handle payments in a fast-paced retail environment. You will scan items, process cash, card, and checks, and provide receipts while maintaining an organized checkout area.

You will also assist with returns, stocking, cleaning, and problem resolution, escalating to a supervisor when needed. Previous POS experience is helpful, but reliable teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Scan items at checkout and ensure all items are billed.
• Process payments including cash, credit/debit, and checks.
• Handle returns/exchanges according to store policy.
• Maintain clean and organized register area and workspace.
• Resolve customer complaints or escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Assist with stocking and housekeeping tasks as needed.
