Job summary

Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Cashier for our Bradenton, FL location. You will greet customers, operate the POS system, ensure accurate pricing and codes, and invite customers to participate in the Change Round Up to support our mission.

You may assist in training new cashiers and maintain a clean, safe sales floor. The role requires a positive, multitasking individual with cash handling experience and the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
