Vallarta Supermarkets in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a friendly cashier to deliver extraordinary customer experiences at the front end. You will operate the cash register, balance the till, bag groceries, and help keep the area clean and organized while upholding Vallarta’s standards for accuracy, safety, and service.

Candidates must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, work a flexible schedule including afternoons and weekends, and complete Vallarta's cashier training.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to count and perform simple math accurately.
• Ability to identify and differentiate produce items and codes.
• Must successfully complete Vallarta Supermarkets Cashier Training Program.

Responsabilités

• Operate cash register systems accurately and follow all money handling procedures.
• Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts within company timeframes.
• Bag groceries according to Vallarta procedures and customers’ requests.
• Maintain the check stand clean, organized, and free of clutter, store personal items in lockers.
• Follow dress code, grooming, jewelry, and nail policies.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at the front end.
• Treat coworkers and customers respectfully at all times.
• Abide by all store rules, company policies, and Employee Handbook.
