Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills are required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize, and balance cash drawer; complete cashier slips and deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable of merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Open and close procedures as assigned for unit hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during and after service.
• Ensure product is stocked at appropriate levels and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
