Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cashier in Kentucky to handle transactions and provide outstanding customer service. You will greet guests, balance cash, and process sales with accuracy using a POS system.

You should have prior cashier or cash-handling experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently. Training in Food Handling and Alcohol Service may be required by location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand merchandise and accurately process transactions.
• Complete opening and closing procedures based on operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Ensure products are stocked and replenished as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
