Job summary

Johnny’s Markets in Michigan is seeking Crew Members to greet customers, ring up purchases, prepare fresh food and beverages, and help connect with the community. You will stand, move around the store, handle cash, check IDs for alcohol and tobacco, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate professionally with customers and staff.
• Accurately count cash and make change.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, grasp, and press buttons.
• Able to read and interpret manuals and instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Say hello and thank customers, making it fun to shop at Johnny’s.
• Listen to customer requests or concerns, and share with management.
• Operate the cash register and give proper change.
• Request ID for alcohol/tobacco as required by law.
• Follow directions to make coffee and food turn out delicious.
• Refill shelves, displays, and coolers as needed during shift.
• Do housekeeping as needed to keep the store fresh and clean.
• Take care of other tasks assigned by your manager.
