Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying their needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience.

The role requires following bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store. Applicants must be at least 16; training is provided. English reading/writing and basic math are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and making every shopping visit pleasant.
• Follow bagging procedures, provide carryout and parcel pickup service, load merchandise into customer vehicles, and return shopping carts to the store.
• Work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales; complete required training.
