What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide one-stop service for patients by addressing issues and concerns related to processes and functions
- Perform accounts receivable functions, including cash collection, account resolution, and financial assistance communication
- Validate self-pay account statuses and manage undeliverable patient statements while ensuring compliance
- Educate patients on billing, insurance, and regulatory issues of varying complexity
- Identify improvement opportunities and proactively recommend solutions to enhance patient satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to maintain compliance with Federal and State Regulations as well as internal policies

- Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in healthcare
- Familiarity with billing systems and revenue management
