Job summary

Target Specialty Products is seeking a Warehouse Clerk in Baton Rouge to perform order fulfillment, customer service, and inventory duties in a fast-paced retail warehouse setting. You will pick, pack, process payments for in-store transactions, and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse system.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or in-store pickup.
• Customer Service: assist walk-in customers with product information and ordering.
• Retail-Style Service: handle transactions and provide a positive customer experience.
• Inventory Management: maintain counts and record stock in the WMS.
• Receiving and Stocking: receive shipments and stock shelves efficiently.
• Product Knowledge: maintain understanding of products to assist customers.
• Documentation: keep records of orders, inventory, and interactions.
• Warehouse Maintenance: keep a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Cross-Departmental Support: assist with deliveries and other duties as needed.
