Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a 10-hour shift schedule in Boston's Back Bay. The role involves front‑line client service, access control, and vigilant patrols to protect people and property.

The officer will engage with employees, report incidents, and respond to emergencies according to site procedures while maintaining high levels of observation and communication throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Requires a 2nd interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to a client‑facing site.
• Heavy foot traffic location – looking for officer engagement and responsiveness with employees.
• Control access (entrance and exit) to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Exterior patrols, on foot to inspect building and grounds.
• High level of observation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, clients, and management.
• Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents or suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergency situations following procedures established for the site.
