Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Livonia, MI is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, ring up sales, balance the till, restock and keep displays neat. You will move merchandise to the sales floor and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer service is required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Basic math and computer skills are needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• High school diploma or currently pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Balance the register at opening/closing as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop.
• Sort, prepare and move merchandise to the sales floor.
• Keep the store clean, safe and organized.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily sales and production goals.
