Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate in Wisconsin to act as the point of contact for customers, help set and maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and assist with ordering merchandise.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety and team collaboration. Relocation aid is not available.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean store front, sidewalks, restrooms and stockroom; maintain store appearance.
