Job summary

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling cash, and using handheld scanners to order merchandise. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restrooms and stockrooms.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
