Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Evansville, IN seeks an HVAC Diagnostics Technician to diagnose residential and commercial HVAC issues for warm leads and propose service or replacement options.

You will clearly communicate findings to customers, convert diagnostics into completed service calls, and deliver outstanding front‑facing service while upholding safety standards and local codes. A valid Journeyman HVAC license (IN/KY) and EPA Universal Certification are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC license valid in Indiana and/or Kentucky.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently on service calls.
• Experience estimating HVAC jobs is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and recommend solutions.
• Provide estimates and present service or replacement options.
• Convert diagnostic calls into completed service jobs.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a front-facing role.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes.
