Job summary

Golden Corral in the United States is seeking a friendly Cashier/Line Person to ensure smooth, accurate transactions and warm guest service at the front of the house.

You will handle payments, answer menu questions, assist with take-out and buffet service, and keep the cashier area clean and stocked while following health guidelines. Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy situations.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude at the register.
• Accurately process customer orders and payments, including cash, cards, and mobile payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station.
• Assist customers with menu questions and take-out orders.
• Help in packaging take-out and delivering to customers.
• Ensure front-of-house areas and dining areas are clean.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling.
• Describe all menu offerings and explain the line ordering system.
