Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly personality and willingness to talk with people.
• Excellent customer service and ability to listen.
• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Basic math and comfort with POS systems.
• Good phone etiquette.
• Product knowledge or eagerness to learn on the job.
• Clear, upbeat communication with customers, teammates, and management.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual attendance and team-first attitude.
• Flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with energy as they enter the store.
• Verify starting cash balance and manage till during shift.
• Ring up purchases and handle cash/card payments.
• Encourage Ace Rewards sign-ups.
• Apply coupons and process refunds/store credit.
• Ask for assistance from a Sales Associate when needed.
• Know monthly ads and promote specials.
• Suggest products to help customers with projects.
• Handle complaints with patience and involve a manager when needed.
• Keep counter, aisles, and impulse area clean and stocked.
