Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help unload merchandise.

The role requires maintaining a clean, safe store and supporting stock replenishment while upholding professional interactions with customers and staff. Effective communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret procedures.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept/mopped, trash removed.
• Other duties as assigned.
