Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring for a part-time store associate at our Barrington, NJ location. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
