Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused cashier to provide courteous, efficient checkout service in a retail setting. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and process purchases while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include handling cash transactions, returns, and exchanges, stocking shelves, and supporting special assignments. Flexible scheduling (including evenings/weekends) is required, with potential training opportunities and growth

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Register customer purchases on the cash register and handle cash and returns as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; check in and price merchandise.
• Assist with store displays and resets; ensure compliant product placement and stock rotation.
• Execute quick, friendly customer service in the photo area and with web pickup responsibilities.
• Maintain store appearance and cooperate with team members; complete special assignments as directed.
• Attend training and complete any assigned PPLs by management.
