Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns politely.
• Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register.
• Bags merchandise and places items in the cart, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintains accuracy during transactions and collects appropriate funds.
• Maintains cash drawer security and avoids overages/shortages.
• Follows tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines.
• Stays informed on weekly ads and promotions to assist customers.
• Keeps department clean and meets health and OSHA standards.
• Disposes of trash properly and maintains work areas.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure store smooth operation.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required (PPE).
