Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
• Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department and know basics in adjacent departments.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure a clean, shop-able, and safe environment.
• Follow safety policies and standards, complete safety training, correct hazards, or report conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Work with Department Supervisor and other associates across departments.
• Be familiar with store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
