Job summary

The TJ Maxx location in Piqua, OH is hiring a team member to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience while upholding store standards and policies. You may be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas to support the business and drive loyalty programs.

Responsibilities include accurate transaction handling, merchandising prep, and maintaining safety and cleanliness of the sales floor, with a flexible schedule to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Ability to respond effectively to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining store standards.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas as needed.
• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Participate in store recovery, cleanliness, and safety initiatives.
• Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
