Job summary

APPLIED Adhesives is seeking a Customer Experience Representative I to join the remote team. You will manage customer orders and inquiries, work with Sales, Business Development, and Operations to build relationships, and help retention and growth.

This is a remote role limited to CST or EST time zones in the U.S. The role emphasizes accurate order processing, excellent service, and data integrity in the CRM.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of customer facing experience.
  • Located in CST or EST timezones.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service or support experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer-focused and empathetic with a service mindset.
  • Proficient with CRM and office tools, quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide current and prospect customer experience excellence: process requests for product, price, and sales support.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support daily operations toward growth objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance data in APPLIED’s CRM for accounts and cross‑department collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate troubles to the appropriate resource.
  • Ensure compliance with customer experience policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated, hard-working self-starter to join our Customer Experience Team.

The Customer Experience Representative I will work both independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional service to APPLIED’s current and potential customers.

This role focuses on supporting an assigned territory by managing customer orders and inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience. They will work closely with the Sales, Business Development, and Operations teams to build strong customer relationships while contributing to retention and growth.

This is a remote role. Only candidates located in CST or EST time zones in the U.S. will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide current and prospect customer experience excellence: to include accurate and professional processing of requests for product, price, and other sales support activities as needed.
  • Support team efforts by delivering excellent customer service and contributing to daily operations that align with annual growth objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance key data is APPLIED’s CRM for existing and prospective accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Act as a liaison for customer requests and collaborate across departments to support business needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, process customer complaints and upscale issues to the appropriate resource.
  • Compliance adherence: Ensuring compliance with all customer experience policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or state‑ recognized equivalent (such as a GED).
  • 1+ years of customer facing experience.
  • Located in CST or EST timezones.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Other Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service or support experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Including active listening and a strong phone presence.
  • Customer-focused, empathetic, and committed to delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • Highly organized with a process-driven mindset and strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, build relationships, and navigate challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of customer-focused selling and negotiation techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows OS, CRM software, and social media tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities at the same time while remaining organized.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at APPLIED varies based on a wide variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, work location, and internal equity. As required by applicable law, APPLIED provides a reasonable compensation range for positions that may be filled in multiple locations.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $ 60k - $65k annually.

This range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation expected for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered may vary based on the factors noted above. In addition, we are invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
