Job summary

Qualifications

• Cashier experience and customer service
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math
• Stand/walk 100% during shifts
• Lifting up to 40 pounds on average
• Pushing/pulling, bending and twisting
• Clear verbal communication with customers and staff
• Must be 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and make customers feel welcome and respected.
• Learn product knowledge and suggest items when helpful.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Handle returns and exchanges per policy.
• Communicate promotions and program details to customers.
• Follow policies for stamps, money orders, gift cards and money transfers.
• Stock and label department merchandise and manage inventory awareness.
• Report pricing or stocking discrepancies to management.
