Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is looking for a friendly Bagger/Courtesy Clerk at 1215 W 6th St, The Dalles, OR. You will greet customers, assist with transactions, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

As a team member, you will operate the POS system, handle various payment forms, follow policies, and contribute to a safe, clean shopping experience while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the POS system and multiple tender types.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow store policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items and use of coupons.
