Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Team Member to interact with customers and teammates, supporting selling initiatives and completing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will help greet customers, uncover needs, recommend product solutions, and ensure a positive shopping experience—with responsibilities spanning cash handling, merchandising, floor recovery, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and team members to support selling initiatives and complete assigned tasks.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight processes.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandise assembly.
• Perform janitorial duties and price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler (where age-appropriate).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
