Job Summary

The Business Process Optimization Specialist I is an entry level role that provides administrative support and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The position handles core policy support functions, such as bind and endorsement processing, while also partnering on efforts to streamline workflows and identify opportunities for greater operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to provide comprehensive policy lifecycle support.
  • Field external communications for service requests.
  • Serve as first point of contact for post-bind support, answering questions and resolving basic policy inquiries.
  • Accurate review & filing of underwriting and/or bind documents.
  • Maintain organized and accurate files and transaction records.
  • Learn and work within industry specific software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Support the design and development of SOPs, training materials, and various other related process documentation.
  • Report onsite in our Tyler, TX office.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Industry designations/certifications a plus (ie AU, CPCU or Agents License).
  • 0-1 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn industry-specific software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Strong desire to learn and explore new ideas.
  • Ability to be flexible, embrace change, and quickly pivot in response to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in our Tyler, TX office Monday-Friday.

Role Progression

The next level role is a Business Process Optimization Specialist II.

The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

National Pay Range

$25 - $31.33 USD
