Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Cashier to deliver efficient, friendly checkout experiences that leave customers with a positive impression. You’ll learn about Meijer programs and promotions to assist customers in finding what they need and completing purchases.

You’ll handle transactions accurately, use Meijer systems, and communicate clearly while supporting store operations. Prior retail experience helps but isn’t required; you must be 18+ and able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older and enjoy helping people.
• Able to learn and use store technology and systems.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented and organized in fast‑paced environment.
• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
