Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious activities and multi-task.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs.
• Strong math and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide proper change.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
