Mother’s Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide fast, accurate checkout and help customers find what they need. You’ll be the face of the store, delivering great service in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $19.80, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and in-store discounts. Flexible scheduling with weekends and holidays is available to support team needs.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience (cashiering is a plus).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computerized register systems.
• Clear communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly.
• Accurately ring up purchases using computerized registers.
• Bag groceries and maintain customer preferences.
• Memorize product codes for produce and bulk items.
• Keep station clean, organized, and stocked throughout shift.
• Assist with store upkeep when not checking out customers.
• Help customers locate products and answer questions.
• Take and follow up on special orders with department managers.
• Ensure price accuracy and report discrepancies on shelf tags.
• Support overall store safety, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Lead Cashier.
