Mother's Market & Kitchen in Newport Beach, CA is hiring a Cashier to provide fast, friendly checkout experiences and assist customers with finding items. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, bag groceries, and help keep the store tidy and stocked throughout your shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take and follow up on special orders with department managers.
• Ensure price accuracy and report discrepancies on shelf tags.
• Support overall store safety, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Lead Cashier

What You Will Do

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Frequent use of touchscreen registers and scanners
• Push/pull products across the scanner and handle cash
• Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, reach overhead, and climb ladders
• Answer phones and engage with customers face-to-face

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
