Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Exeter, NH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will greet customers, answer questions, process transactions at the register, and help stock shelves while keeping the store clean and organized.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. Prior customer service in retail is preferred; you should follow instructions, handle cash securely, and communicate clearly with customers and leaders

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect store assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
