Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lancaster, OH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, run the register, stock shelves, and keep areas clean and safe.

You’ll handle merchandise unloading, restocking, and respond to customer questions with a smile. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, helpful service in retail environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
• Basic problem-solving to assist customers and resolve issues.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Follow store policies and procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks for restocking.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Provide a positive, respectful environment and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
