Job Overview

This role involves working closely with customers to discuss discounts, resolve issues, set appointments, cross-sell products, handle calls, process payments, make policy changes, and assist with claims and insurance documents. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers about discounts and programs.
• Resolve issues related to discounts or programs.
• Reach out to customers to set appointments.
• Cross-sell products, such as the Multi-Line discount.
• Handle incoming calls and answer customer inquiries.
• Process payments and policy modifications.
• Set up billing accounts and handle billing requests.
• Submit claims paperwork as requested.
• Provide proof of insurance documents.
• Assist with INFB Health Plans, if needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements for Success

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience; insurance experience preferred.
• Property & Casualty insurance license required or ability to obtain within a year.
• Knowledge of Farm Bureau discounts and programs or ability to learn quickly.
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional interaction with clients and team members.
• Proficiency with Android and Apple devices.
• Patience and understanding in guiding customers through technology.
