Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Shirley, NY store. You’ll assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
