Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in Windsor, CT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store welcoming and well-maintained. You will handle stocking, unloading trucks, and ensuring safety and quality in daily store operations.

You will interact with customers and team members in a friendly, professional manner, while upholding company standards and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload trucks and stock replenishment according to standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and floors swept.
• Other duties as assigned.
