Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience in Taylorville, IL. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and help with stock replenishment and merchandise recovery.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions and accurate cash handling in a part-time retail setting. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
