Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Jersey LLC in Neptune City, NJ is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help with stock and merchandising while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
