Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate in Minnesota to handle checkout, assist customers, and support daily retail operations. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and recommend products while maintaining store standards and ensuring accuracy of transactions.

Responsibilities include merchandise presentation, inventory checks, and assisting with photo services and web order pick-ups. Prior Walgreens experience is a plus, bilingual abilities are not required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and handles refunds and exchanges.
• Delivers courteous, friendly, efficient checkout service to customers.
• Greet customers and offer assistance to find products and services.
• Recommends items for sale and cross-sells to meet customer needs.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; prices merchandise as directed.
• Protects company assets and minimizes loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products (alcohol, tobacco).
• Builds and resets displays for promotions and seasonal items.
• Manages food separation and stock rotation as directed.
• Uses store systems and equipment proficiently.
• Provides photo area services and promotes photo products.
• Manages web pick-up orders and delivers to customers.
• Maintains clean store exterior and interior; assists with maintenance.
• Follows all policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments as directed.
