Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Belton, Missouri is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store cleanliness.

The role requires reliable performance with shopping expertise, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Training will cover safety, stock replenishment, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
