Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help unload merchandise while keeping the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Part-time position located in Van Wert, Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
