Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate to serve customers at our Richmond, VA store. The role involves helping shoppers locate merchandise, operating the register, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will greet customers, assist with purchases, process payments, and help keep planograms and displays up to date. Previous retail experience is helpful, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
