Job summary

Cymbiotika is seeking a motivated Customer Experience Advocate to monitor customer engagement, answer questions, and identify ways to improve service. The role collaborates across departments to ensure an exceptional customer journey and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with four days in our San Diego, CA office and remote Fridays, requiring regular attendance at monthly team meetings and quarterly events.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Experience Advocate to join our Cymbiotika team! As a Customer Experience Advocate, you will be tracking all points of customer engagement, addressing customer queries, and identifying ways to improve our customer services.

Role Overview

As a Customer Experience Advocate, you are the voice of the company, specializing in extensive product knowledge, record keeping, and problem solving. Working alongside multiple departments, you will answer customer questions and concerns with confidence and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with order verification, updates regarding shipment, product availability and pricing.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to enhance customer services and brand awareness.
• Provide analytical and specialized administrative support with general instructions.
• Inform customers about new products and usage.
• Analyze customer feedback on new and existing products, as well as preparing reports.
• Respond to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email, or social media.
• Participate in weekly meetings that are structured to aid in the enhancement of professional development.
• Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions.

Additional Duties

Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned based on business needs and organizational priorities.

Work Location & Schedule

This position follows an enforced hybrid schedule, requiring team members to be present in our San Diego, California office at least four days per week (Monday–Thursday). Fridays are available for remote work. This role also requires attendance at all in-person monthly team meetings and quarterly company events.

Physical Requirements

This role primarily involves office-based work and requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move items up to 20–30 pounds, such as files or office supplies. Employees should be able to sit or stand for extended periods and perform frequent computer-based tasks, including prolonged exposure to a computer screen.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is $22.12 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime during peak and holiday seasons based on business needs. Employees will have the opportunity to support a fast-paced, growing environment and play an important role in ensuring timely fulfillment for our customers during our busiest periods.
